• Wood grows from the earth and is used for decades or even centuries. When no longer useful, it returns to the earth, as it’s biodegradable.
• Materials used in manufactured siding, decking or paneling made from vinyl, brick, metal, or concrete are mined from the earth, and are not renewable. Once discarded they just accumulate in landfills.
• Plastics, such as vinyl, are derived from crude Oil: the earth’s limited petroleum resource.
• Huge amounts of energy are wasted in the manufacturing of artificial siding, decking, and paneling.

All lumber of a particular grade is not created equally.
We only work with mills whose lumber quality is consistently higher than all the rest.
